After hanging out at the Sutro Bathes/Lands End, we made our way to the Mission district. This area is a popular area for the younger generation, and seems to be the more “hip” area of San Francisco. This isn’t quite where the LGBTQ area is (Castro Distric), but we did see quite an influence here. […]
Choosing where to stay when on vacation is always one of the most stressful things for me. We opted to use Airbnb during our stay in Singapore, and our choice turned out to be a rather nice place for us to stay. Check out that sunrise view! Our studio apartment was conveniently located above the Clarke […]
If you have been following my posts from my trip to Singapore last September you will have noticed that we have visited quite a few different food centres. Those food centres range from a modern food court at Food Republic to a touristy mock street market at Chinatown Food Street and Malaysian Street Food to a more traditional […]
After spending the morning at the aquarium, we headed off to find food to fill out tummies. Prior to heading over to Sentosa, Sarah has already did her research and mentioned that there is an area that sold Malaysian street food that we should try. The lazy person in me didn’t do any research and […]
Grand Central Market LA: Eggslut, Berlin Currywurst, The Oyster Gourmet, Clark Street Bread, etc. I went to Grand Central Market mainly for Eggslut because breakfast is one of my favorite meals of the day and I like eggs! There is definitely a hype about this place. But after going to Grand Central Market for Breakfast, […]

So Auntie took us to Temasek Restaurant in Parramatta, Sydney. After driving around looking for parking, we managed to get there […]

Dinner for 10 people in Melbourne, and we didn’t have reservations. Mom’s friends wanted to take us to a new restaurant that they heard is really good. When we arrived, we were immediately seated. I was pretty surprised because I was told we didn’t have reservations. There were quite a few people in the lobby area waiting. I was later told that we literally had out big table for 1 hour.
Melbourne – Day 3 – Part 2 14-16 Market Lane Melbourne, VIC http://www.hutong.com.au/ Auntie knew exactly what she wanted for lunch and guided us to HuTong Dumpling Bar. HuTong is an area in Beijing China that consists of small alley ways (kind of similar to the laneways in Melbourne but very different culturally). Tucked in […]
